Hamilton Hotel, Gt Yarmouth

Team: David, Pauline, Nicola, Mel and Paul

David and Nicola went around the premises to take base readings and in some areas there was a point 5 difference. As it was sunny evening all heating was off in the hotel, electrical sockets were tested and came back with normal readings.
In the Kitchen all base readings were normal, though there was a point 5 fluctuation in the laundry area.
In the front breakfast room there was a point 2 reading in the right hand corner of the room, and in the top right hand corner point 5 – 6 was recorded, and 3 – 4 in the bay window. In the corridor off  the breakfast room the reading's again went up to point 5.

During the evening a voice recorder was left running.

The team then split into two groups: 1) Davis, Naomi and Nicola  2 ) Pauline, Mel and Paul.

Upstairs corridor had a base reading of 1 – 2. A little boy from the early 1900's appeared (1904), he was aged between 9 – 11 years old he has a music recorder in his hands, he says his name is Peter, and went on to talk about Naomi's dog being missing. He said it is near a bridge and river, the bridge is made of steel and a local fisher man is has been looking after him by leaving him food. So far the dog has been seen but avoided being captured each time. Naomi confirmed all the information given by Peter was correct. Peter said if Naomi called for him in her mind he will help her to get the dog back. He said he was worried about Naomi walking beside the river as he had drowned in the late 1904 near Whitlingham. Peter was able to confirm the name of the dog and what Naomi had been wearing the evening before when she was out searching for her dog.

(Naomi has since confirmed she did this and her dog came near by her, and was captured a few days later)

Peter doesn't belong to the hotel he is just in visitation when Peter was communicating in the corridor the base readings were very high and the temperature much cooler, he continued to walk around with the team especially around Naomi which then showed in the readings.

When we were in the lower function room an old lady made her presence felt and she said she lived in the lower part (cellar) and worked there when it was a house, she gave a name of Margaret, she stood very close and a breeze could be felt by the present owner and Pauline. When Mel was at the entrance to the cellar she felt a pressure on her temples, at the other entrance to the cellar no presence was felt.
Examination of the cellar area, it felt that the floor should have been 4ft lower and there had been a flood which is why it had been filled in.
Whilst standing in the function room a brief sensation of cigarette smoke was detected and then Pauline voice started to go very gravelly (like a heavy smoker) it was a large strong man trying to get in to speak through her. This was stopped immediately as not the right time.

In the kitchen area, it was felt that there was or had been a flow of water below but not in pipes, it came through that there had been cottages on the site in the 1700's open sewer causeway connected to the fishing trade.

The heavy smoker gave more information, he had big hands, something wrong with a finger, big man like a trucker, heavy smoker, manual worker, had gastric stomach problems. (The man's description was accepted by someone in the room).

Dining Room

Paul stood in area where activity had been felt by others. A female came through, young aged 11, she was wearing a dress of smooth material, her hair was long, blond and wavy, her name was Jemima, she was just smiling. She came here in 1954 to visit relatives she enjoyed her visits, she curtsied and said ''Thank you''.
As she was talking two further energies walked past Paul going towards the door..
A person was felt sitting on the window ledge on the left side of the dining room, there were two other energies with her, a boy and a girl, smaller than him, as this was being communicated, a hot feeling was felt in Mel's chest and down the leg of Pauline.
The children were well dressed, the lady at the window was very prim and proper aged about mid thirties, sitting very upright with legs crossed at the ankles, she is wearing a starched white high collar with lace, sleeves are puffy and to the wrists, a fitted long skirt to the floor, she is holding an embroidery ring, the name Auntie Georgina came in. She was a visitor to the house (the year 1936 )her husband was not with her, she says she is responsible for the children, the boy is her own called James, the little girl is called Mary, they are cousins.

There was other areas in the hotel where heavy energy was felt and outside one room which would have been the Master bedroom (when it was a house) fear was felt like he was a strong religious and strict person, others feared him. In the past it was two houses and energy could be senses where the two houses had been opened up into one big place. One side of the building has a softer energy, the other side had a heavier energy especially where the Master bedroom mentioned above is positioned. Often anger and fear leaves a stronger residual energy behind, (whilst outside this room) Pauline had a feeling that she was being lifted towards the ceiling, when she tuned in, Margaret was taking her away from this area as she didn't like the Master, and she often went to the attic to escape the anger of this man.

We all joined together later in the function room and continued to communicate with energies in the hotel, after a little while a very strong energy started to alter Pauline's voice and then she was over shadowed by a man of great power, he said out loud using Pauline voice '' What are you all doing here standing around, get about your business''. Pauline did not allow him to continue using her body and voice without permission. The others in the team said they felt like they should have been down on their knees in front of this energy, Pauline said she felt he was a religious man who ruled the whole household, and others standing around angered him. (The energy  probably was the man felt upstairs near the Master bedroom).

It was a good evening with lots of communication and experiences.
